Description

Building a DEIA Strategy That Sticks is part of the ASAE DEIA and Conscious Inclusion Micro-Credentials Program. This micro-credential focuses on putting DEIA into practice and building a strategic roadmap within the association.

Learning Objective: This micro-credential will focus on bolstering board diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility (DEIA) to increase organizational effectiveness, integrating DEIA into association operations, engaging members and volunteers on DEIA, and how to measure the success of DEIA strategy.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Distinguish between diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility (DEIA), and how conscious inclusion informs DEIA strategies and actions.
  • Define and apply the benefits and strategies in bolstering DEIA in boards.
  • Identify DEIA integrations into everyday association operations and the critical role of staff.
  • Modify practices to ensure a transformation to more inclusive members and volunteers.
  • Determine practical solutions to apply data to measure success.
