In support of ASAE’s strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) and Conscious Inclusion (CI) ASAE has developed a DEIA/CI Micro-Credential Program.

Since associations are leaders in their respective professions and industries, the ability for executives to educate themselves, staff members, members, and volunteers on DEIA/CI is the most significant way these important concepts can be adopted and pushed through the communities and professions they serve.
This micro-credential program will be appropriate for both trade and professional associations. The micro-credentials will focus on approaching the DEIA/CI topics from a behavioral perspective, modeling what should be the norm, creating inclusive environments, and focusing on culture shift, change management, and embracing DEIA/CI.
Each micro-credential will include case studies, video stories of experiences and best practices, a self-reflection guide, a language guide, and a rigorous final assessment. Each micro-credential will include a digital badge, so association executives and staffers will have a visual representation of this achievement, which will signify to their staff, their boards, and the community at large that they have obtained a level of knowledge around DEIA/Conscious Inclusion.
