Vy Le has invested over fifteen years of professional experience in the nonprofit and association sector and is currently leading the Linguistic Society of America membership portfolio. Before this role, Vy spent the majority of her career working in different associations in Australia across the agricultural, education, and health industries. Her experience expands in all aspects of a nonprofit organization, including communications, policy, marketing, project management, business development, operation, governance, and membership. She is passionate about equal opportunities for all genders, especially in leadership and education provision.
In Australia, Vy received her MBA and Master of Marketing Management from the University of Canberra and her Master of Project Management from the Australian National University. She also obtained a Bachelor of Public Relations majoring in Cinema Studies from RMIT University. She is a long-term member of the Australian Institute of Company Director and also an ASAE member. As a lifelong learner, she is currently pursuing her certification for association executive (CAE).
