      Kristin is the NC REALTORS® Political Fundraising Director. She is responsible for planning and executing all fundraising initiatives associated with the NC REALTORS® Political Action Committee (NC REALTORS® PAC). Kristin strives to give REALTORS® a stronger voice by helping elect legislators who understand interests and concerns of the real estate industry. Kristin has been with NC REALTORS® since 2007 and previously managed the NC REALTORS® Partners program helping improve member benefits to meet the needs of North Carolina REALTORS®. Kristin is an Appalachian State University graduate with a degree in Communication and a passion for fundraising. Kristin is married to her husband John David and spends all of her free time playing with her 11 month old son, Wesley.

      Chris Vest, CAE

      Christopher Vest, CAE, is the Director of Public Policy for the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), a section 501(c)(6) individual membership organization representing more than 21,000 association executives and industry partners from nearly 10,000 tax-exempt organizations. Vest is a registered lobbyist working on a wide range of legislative and regulatory issues impacting trade and professional associations and other tax-exempt entities, and authors many of ASAE’s position statements, written testimony and other communications to Congress and the Administration. Vest earned ASAE’s Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2013 and was honored as one of Association TRENDS’ Leading Association Lobbyists in 2014.

      Travis Burton

      Travis Burton serves as Manager of Public Affairs for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Burton’s major areas of focus are Education and Workforce Development. Prior to joining the Kentucky Chamber, which is the state’s largest business organization, Burton served as the Director of Public Relations for the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. He was a public relations/political consultant and worked in leadership offices at the Legislative Research Commission as a policy advisor before taking the post at the Ag Department. Burton worked in U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell’s Washington, D.C., office prior to attending Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University where he served as President of the Student Bar Association. Before his 2012 graduation, he was employed as a law clerk for Toyota. He graduated from Georgetown College with a degree in Political Science.
