Components are an affiliated or independent society, chapter, branch, special-interest group, or division of an international, national, state, regional, or local organization. Component relations professionals make services and benefits available to association members through their affiliates.

If you are a component relations professional or spend a significant portion of your time managing a component, the Component Relations and Volunteer Management Professionals Community is an essential resource for you. This community will connect you with peers who share your challenges and have knowledge and experience that will help make you more effective in your job.

Purpose statement. The Component Relations and Volunteer Management Professionals Community strengthens the bond between associations, their members, and society by developing, educating, and supporting component relations professionals.

Leadership. The Component Relations and Volunteer Management Professionals Advisory Council guides development of content related to chapter, affiliate, section, and other component relations and management issues. This group requires two face-to-face meetings each year.
