ASAE Celebrates Womens History Month 2023

“In honor of Women’s History Month, ASAE shares its gratitude and pride for the dynamic women in the association community who lead with courage and conviction, lift others up on their professional journeys, and inspire us all to make our mark.

Despite barriers that still exist, the rise of women in association leadership roles is gaining momentum and organizations are doing more to prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion, not just in hiring practices but as an across-the-board business imperative. This year is notable in that, for the first time in its 102-year history, ASAE’s President and CEO, Board Chair, Chair-Elect and Secretary-Treasurer are all female CEOs. That is not a demographic anomaly, but rather a reflection of significant progress in our industry.

While Women’s History Month affords us an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the strong women who have changed history, it also serves as inspiration for the next generation of female leaders and reminds us to keep empowering women in this community to contribute unapologetically and authentically.”
