ASAE Celebrates Black History Month

“Over the course of history, Black Americans have made significant contributions to every segment of American society. Their mark is indelible on business, law, science, medicine, arts and entertainment, literature, politics and more.

As we acknowledge the beginning of Black History Month 2023, we note that the history of Black Americans is still being made in the association community as we strive to unlock the power and potential of top talent.

Associations have a unique and important role in advancing industries and professions through the Power of Associations and transforming America’s workforce, workplace culture and society. I am encouraged that so many associations embrace their role as change agents and are thinking boldly about the future by prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion as a business imperative and being consciously inclusive about the strategic importance to advance the association sector.”
