ASAE invites nominations for the 2014 Gold Circle Awards (GCA) competition that recognizes excellence, innovation, and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership, communications, and component relations programs. Winners will be recognized during the Gold Circle Awards ceremony on June 17 at the 2014 Marketing, Membership, and Communications Conference in Washington, DC.

The awards program encompasses 16 categories such as branding, convention/meetings marketing campaigns, integrated communications programs, and membership recruitment campaigns. The deadline to submit entries is Friday, January 31. The Communications, Marketing, Membership and Component Relations councils are collaborating on this year’s awards program. For a full list of categories, please visit the Gold Circle Awards page.

“Each year, we look for great examples of communications and marketing tactics and campaigns from associations and nonprofits,” said Mike Boa, director of communications and marketing at the Casualty Actuarial Society and chair of the Gold Circle Awards Committee. “The GCA program is a great opportunity for association professionals to showcase how they are shaping their outreach efforts in innovative and creative ways to engage their target audiences.”

Entries for the Gold Circle Awards competition will be evaluated in each category based on established criteria for excellence in association marketing, membership, communications, and component relations programs. Judges from a variety of associations, nonprofits, and for-profit organizations will evaluate the entries.
