WASHINGTON—ASAE Business Services, Inc. and Savills Studley, an ASAE-endorsed Real Estate Solution, announce that applications are open for the 2nd Annual Association Real Estate Awards. The 2014 Association Real Estate Awards will recognize associations and nonprofits with office spaces that, by design, generate member engagement and involvement. Submissions are due by September 26.

The 2014 Association Real Estate Awards will feature an overall winner as well as four awards for excellence that will be given out to organizations in different categories: philanthropic/nonprofit/charitable/foundation; professional association; trade association; and association management company (AMC). Participants will submit photos of the lobby/reception, signage, overall design, conference facilities, individual work spaces, etc.

“Because we had great participation last year and a strong turnout at the inaugural awards celebration, we wanted to continue hosting the Association Real Estate awards on an annual basis. We are excited to see what inventive office spaces organizations will submit this year and to learn how they utilize these spaces to 'wow' their members,” said ASAE Business Services, Inc. President Dixie L. Arthur. “This continues to be a great opportunity for associations to showcase their creativity.”

A committee comprised of association professionals, real estate, and interior design experts will judge the effectiveness of the office space in member engagement. Last year's awards received more than 50 submissions from organizations across the nation, and the winners were: General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC); the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); International Interior Design Association (IIDA); American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME); National Confectioners Association (NCA); and the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).
