Cybersecurity remains a top association priority. According to Symantec’s 2017 Internet Security Threat Report, cyberthreats will only increase as our dependency on mobile devices, cloud-based storage, and the internet of things expands.

Are you aware of the legal consequences that might affect your organization if you don’t take the necessary steps to be compliant with cybersecurity regulations? Don’t get caught unprepared because you think your association is too small to be targeted, you don’t have the budget, you believe cybersecurity is just an IT issue, or you assume your insurance will cover a cyberattack. Part of a four-part online seminar series, this session will cover:

  • relevant statutes and regulations that might affect your organization
  • cybersecurity liabilities your board and employees face
  • necessary internal controls you should adopt

This Online Seminar Series consists of four 60-minute live online sessions that can feature facilitated audio and video content and conversations. Before the first day of the online seminar, registrants will receive login information and links to test their computer and become acquainted with the platform. Participants will have access to recorded sessions, reference materials, and more for up to 30 days following the program.

Registration for this online program will close Friday, October 20, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. ET.

The full four-part series is also available for registration, or you may register for any of the other individual sessions:
