Imagine the Possibilities: ASAE’s 2025 Annual Meeting Unveils Star-Studded Lineup and Dynamic Programming for L.A.
WASHINGTON— Under the theme “Imagine the Possibilities,” ASAE’s 2025 Annual Meeting & Exposition — taking place August 9–12 in Los Angeles — is already generating strong registration and enthusiasm across the association community.
The meeting will bring together thousands of association professionals and industry partners to explore how the sector can lead in a fast-changing world. With more than 100 education sessions, influential speakers, and opportunities for strategic collaboration, this year’s gathering will serve as a powerful platform to reimagine what associations can achieve together.

This year’s stellar speaker lineup is sure to energize and inspire. Main Stage speakers include:
- Earvin “Magic” Johnson – NBA legend and Hall of Famer, global icon, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, whose work serving urban communities and promoting awareness, prevention, and education to assist in the fight against HIV/AIDS has changed the world.
- Susan Cain – Bestselling author of QUIET: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking, and BITTERSWEET: How Sorrow and Longing Make Us Whole, and a global voice on the power of introversion and the emotional complexity of leadership.
- Andrew Yang – Entrepreneur, author, and co-founder of the Forward Party, a rising voice for political innovation and civic renewal in America, and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate.
Complementing these headliners are ASAE’s 2025 Catalyst speakers, who will share thought-provoking perspectives drawn from diverse disciplines:
- Keely Cat-Wells – CEO of Making Space, a talent and learning platform that equips Disabled professionals with resources and opportunities to build meaningful careers.
- Dr. Britt Andreatta – Renowned thought leader and author specializing in leadership and the neuroscience of success.
- Kevin Russell – Senior Fellow at the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), delivering expert insights into macro global trends and micro drivers.
- Gary Shapiro – CEO and Vice Chair of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, who will be interviewed by ASAE Board Member Philip Bell, CAE about his latest book, Pivot or Die: How Leaders Thrive When Everything Changes.
Beyond the sessions, ASAE and Destination Los Angeles are curating a slate of exciting evening events at some of the city’s most iconic venues. Attendees can look forward to:
- Opening Celebration – August 9 at the legendary Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
- ASAE Research Foundation’s The Classic (ticketed event) – August 11 at The Novo and The GRAMMY Museum
