Data Nugget: Cashflow at Small Nonprofits

Summary: In a recent survey, more than 40 percent of small nonprofits say they're feeling the pinch.

55% have adequate cash flow

29% Cash flow is inadequate and is preventing growth

14% Cash flow is inadequate and barely enough to maintain current operations

2% No answer

Addtionally, 35% said they need to hire new staff in the next six months but can't
