Offering the Future as a Member Benefit

Every association must understand what the future might mean for its members before it can envision the future for itself. Last year, the Industrial Research Institute undertook an extensive research and idea-generation project that will guide its members' work—and its own—over the next 25 years. Here are some lessons that can help other associations show their members the future, too.

The Industrial Research Institute (IRI) has been the association dedicated to serving innovation management professionals for more than 75 years. As with any association, the more we know about the future of our members, the better we will be at adapting to meet their needs.
