A roundup of new hires and other personnel moves in the association industry.

The Drug Information Association has named Barbara Lopez Kunz global chief executive. Kunz previously served as president of the global health and life sciences business at Battelle.

Rachael Cole Oats, CAE, has been appointed associate executive director of the National Athletic Trainers' Association. Oats most recently was director of NATA's research and edu- cation foundation.

Scott Brewster has been named director of meetings and sponsorships at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Brewster previously was convention and events director and director of member services for the International Warehouse Logistics Association.

Kathryn Lebby, CMP, CAE, succeeded Bill Burns, CAE, as CEO of the Association for Play Therapy. Lebby was previously the association's COO. Burns, who retired, managed seven associations since 1975.

The Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation has hired Kenya D. McRae, Ph.D., as vice president of grants. Most recently, McRae managed health systems and epidemiology at the American Cancer Society.

The Toy Industry Association has promoted Paul Vitale to senior vice president of finance and operations.

Kristofer T. Johnson has been named president of the Association of Washington Businesses.
