      2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Adult Learning Principles to Improve Learning Outcomes in Member Audiences

Impactful professional development and continuing education requires that staff move beyond filling a session room or webinar time slot into Directors/VPs of Learning engaging in the design of learning strategy. Consider the mindset of busy adult learners and design engaging, relevant content to improve acquisition and application of knowledge. The true purpose for associations is to advance a profession with qualified, competent practice. We will also explore new approaches that move away from time-measured learning as we consider the future of Competency Based Education (CBE) vs. seat hours (CPE).

      Wednesday May 10, 2023
      2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Content Creation and Speaker Management Strategies

Examine dynamic and innovative design approaches to implement when directing your live and virtual event portfolio. Explore multiple ways to gather content to expand your Call for Sessions while also preparing to immediately repurpose and repackage. Provide clear scope with roles as faculty, speaker, panelist, presenter or facilitator to avoid traditional 'sage on the stage' syndrome. Develop processes to find new SMEs, add diversity and inclusivity to your composition and hear the latest research on program compensation models (paid or volunteer).

      Thursday May 11, 2023
      2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Increase Non-Dues Revenue through Learning Products

Explore new learning products that generate value and revenue. Repackage content for rapid prototyping and pilot programs. Implement technologies that match your budget and staff bandwidth. Design learner recognitions: from micro-certifications to digital badges. Devise new marketing campaigns to grow registrations.
