More than ever, an organization’s employees, leaders, and volunteers have the means to communicate and work collaboratively, but for many, effective cooperation remains a pipe dream. Discover how one trade association, leveraging collaboration among the national office and affiliates, developed a multi-channel recruitment campaign in a tough-to-reach member category with limited resources.

In this session, part of a four-part online seminar series on the future of membership, hear about challenges that arose in the process, how responsibilities were distributed, and how the campaign was implemented as a joint effort that overcame the barriers that often divide components and their affiliated national organization.

This online seminar features facilitated audio content and conversations. Before the session, registrants will receive login information and links to test their computer and become acquainted with the platform. Participants will have access to the recorded session, reference materials, and more for up to 30 days following the program.

      Scott has over 20 years of marketing experience in the association and publishing industries. He has worked for market leaders like National Geographic Society, AARP and Science. Throughout his career Scott has excelled in developing, implementing and analyzing multi-channel direct marketing programs. He is highly skilled in creating effective customer acquisition and loyalty programs with the ability to align resources and operations to consistently achieve and exceed goals. Scott is very active in the industry. He is currently a member of the APAC Committee. Scott has facilitated a number of ASAE Greater Washington Network Membership Idea Swaps and regularly contributes articles to industry publications. He has written articles for both print and online publications including DMAW Marketing Advents, GWSAE's Executive update, Associations Now and CIRCULATION MANAGEMENT.

      Cancellation, Refund & Substitution Policy

      Submit all requests to ASAE Registration via email at [email protected] All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by January 17, 2019, to receive a full refund, less a $75 administrative fee. Refunds cannot be approved for requests received after this date, to include no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted at any time. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited.

      Event Cancellation or Postponement

      ASAE reserves exclusive right to modify, postpone/reschedule or cancel programs for any reason, including but not limited to emergency, inclement weather or other 'acts of God.' If there is an event cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule, and registration fees will be applied to the rescheduled event date. Any travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred related to a cancelled event cannot be refunded under any circumstances. If a cancelled event cannot be rescheduled, ASAE will determine an equitable basis for the refund of a portion or all of the registration fees, after due consideration of circumstances and expenditures.

      Consent to Use of Photographic Images

      Registration and attendance at, or participation in, ASAE meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees' image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by ASAE and other third parties, including but not limited the venue, the host city and the host CVB.
