The introduction of new technologies and innovations can create an unsettling environment of disruption and pose numerous risks for associations. Developing an internal strategic framework can help your association survive amid rapid change. Identifying new ways to manage disruption can often help associations embrace it.

This session is part of a six-part online seminar series that explores essential leadership qualities for challenging times. Register for this session to:

  • view video clips from the 2016 Executive Leadership Forum presentation “The Disruption Dilemma” by Joshua Gans, professor of strategic management at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and consider his approach to leading disruption
  • participate in high-level discussions with your peers about how to proactively plan for and manage disruptive change and the risks that come with it

The Online Seminar is a 60-minute live online session that can feature facilitated audio and video content and conversations. Before the first day of the online seminar, registrants will receive login information and links to test their computer and become acquainted with the platform. Participants will have access to recorded sessions, reference materials, and more for up to 30 days following the program.

Registration for this online program will close Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. ET.

The full six-part series is also available for registration, or you may register for any of the other individual sessions:
