The introduction of new technologies and innovations can create an unsettling environment of disruption and pose numerous risks for associations. Developing an internal strategic framework can help your association survive amid rapid change. Identifying new ways to manage disruption can often help associations embrace it.
This session is part of a six-part online seminar series that explores essential leadership qualities for challenging times. Register for this session to:
- view video clips from the 2016 Executive Leadership Forum presentation “The Disruption Dilemma” by Joshua Gans, professor of strategic management at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and consider his approach to leading disruption
- participate in high-level discussions with your peers about how to proactively plan for and manage disruptive change and the risks that come with it
