WASHINGTON — ASAE is now accepting entries for the 2013 Gold Circle Award (GCA) competition. GCA recognizes excellence, innovation, and achievement in association/nonprofit communications across 16 categories, including: Convention/Meetings Marketing Campaign, E-Magazine, Innovative Communications, and New Member Orientation Piece. Deadline to apply is December 20.
The Communications, Marketing and Membership councils are leading the GCA initiative. A winner from each category will be selected, and there will be one overall winner that receives the Gold Circle Award for Overall Excellence, formally known as the Council’s Choice Award. Past winners of the overall award include American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and US Chamber of Commerce.
“The Gold Circle Award competition recognizes and rewards organizations whose membership, marketing, and communication campaigns exemplify the effective and innovative use of strategies and tactics to reach their target audiences,” said Lauren Janik, director, marketing TMA Resources and chair of the Gold Circle Awards Committee. “It’s also a great opportunity for association professionals to learn from their peers and potentially adopt new ideas and strategies for use on their own future projects.”
