Dan Melesurgo, founder and principal of Plural Solutions, will join ASAE as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, effective June 1. In this newly created position, Melesurgo will provide direction to the Alliance Partnership Program and address the needs of a growing number of Alliance Partners.
WASHINGTON—Dan Melesurgo, founder and principal of Plural Solutions, will join ASAE as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, effective June 1. In this newly created position, Melesurgo will provide direction to the Alliance Partnership Program and address the needs of a growing number of Alliance Partners.
“This new position emphasizes our commitment to ASAE’s Alliance Partners and further positions us as the best place to gain exposure within the association community,” said ASAE President and CEO John H. Graham IV, CAE. “Dan is well-known and respected for his skills in the areas of strategy development, marketing, creation of partnership platforms and sales. He’s going to be a great asset to ASAE and our industry partners.”
Melesurgo will report to Karl Ely, CAE, vice president and publisher of Associations Now.

Before he launched Plural Solutions, Melesurgo was Executive Director of Meeting, Convention & Incentive Travel Sales for the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC). During his tenure he was responsible for the creation of the business unit's strategy and the expansion of the program to overseas markets.
Prior to joining the CTC, Melesurgo spent nine years at the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau where he held several positions, including Vice President of Global Sales. Earlier in his career he was part of the opening team at the Hotel Inter-Continental Los Angeles and held senior positions with Sheraton and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
