Foundation Events at ASAE Annual Meeting 2011
During ASAE’s 2011 Annual Meeting & Exposition, August 6-9, more than 5,300 association professionals and industry partners gathered in St. Louis. Attendees chose from 120 education sessions led by some of the most renowned association and business leaders, numerous networking events and seven hours of time in the expo hall.
The ASAE Foundation’s Annual Meeting events were equally as successful with the Foundation raising more than $250,000 through different events, including the 1,944 Classic event attendees, 18 silent auction packages and a golf tournament at The Courses in Forest Park.
2011 ASAE Foundation donors were recognized at two very special events. The first was the annual donor reception, taking place overlooking the St. Louis Gateway Arch.
In addition, Foundation major donors enjoyed an informal "behind the scenes" Q&A session with keynote speaker Tina Brown after her opening general session.
The Annual Meeting also welcomed Joseph McGuire, CAE, president of the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers as Chairman-Elect of ASAE and Chairman of the ASAE Foundation.
