WASHINGTON—ASAE Foundation is accepting applications for its 2016 Innovation Grants Program (IGP) through September 25. Now in its fourth year, IGP is a program that provides monetary awards to support innovation exploration and development in the association community. These grants are funded through a major grant from the SunTrust Foundation and additional support from Whiteford, Taylor, & Preston L.L.P. and other donors.
WASHINGTON—ASAE is pleased to announce that Rhonda M. Payne, CAE, will become the new Chief Learning Officer. Payne will lead the development of all educational programming for ASAE, including face-to-face events and ASAE University. She will start on August 3.
WASHINGTON—One hundred twelve association professionals recently received their Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the CAE Commission of ASAE, joining more than 4,000 industry leaders worldwide.
WASHINGTON—ASAE will honor six associations with the 2015 Summit Award, which is the highest recognition under The Power of A Awards. The six organizations will accept their awards on September 30 during the 16th Annual Summit Awards Dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON— ASAE will present Paul Pomerantz, FASAE, CAE, Chief Executive Officer of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, with this year’s Key Award. The Key Award recognizes the association CEO who demonstrates exceptional qualities of leadership in his or her own association and displays a deep commitment to voluntary membership organizations as a whole.
