Associations Now Plus
Associations Now Plus: Your Personalized E-Newsletter
Beginning in November 2013, ASAE's members-only professional-interest e-newsletters are repackaged and reimagined.
The same great resources and ideas from newsletters like Membership Developments, TechnoScope, and Executive IdeaLink are now delivered in a single, customizable newsletter: Associations Now Plus.
You Pick the Topics. You Pick the Frequency.
Associations Now Plus allows you to select the specific topics you want to read about in association management. You can also decide how often to receive it: weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
As an ASAE member, no action is necessary to begin receiving the Associations Now Plus newsletter, personalized to your interests. New members are auto-subscribed to monthly delivery, and their topics are selected based on their job title or "primary interest area" given upon joining.
At any time, you can fine-tune your interest selections by visiting the Interests tab in your ASAE Member Profile (click "About Me," then click "Interests"). There, select your interests from topics grouped in 15 major categories (click categories to see latest articles in each):
- Business Operations
- Fundraising & Non-Dues Revenue
- Government Relations
- Human Resources
- Marketing & Communications
- Meetings & Events
- Professional Development
- Research Methodologies
- About Associations
You can also adjust how often you receive Associations Now Plus, via the My Preferences tab of your ASAE Member Profile:
- Weekly: For those with wide-ranging interests and who like to receive small amounts of content more frequently.
- Monthly: For those with a few key interest areas.
- Quarterly: For those who like to save up their professional knowledge resources and catch up on the plane or during a quiet day at the office.
What's in Associations Now Plus?
Associations Now Plus delivers
- How-to, practical advice in easy-to-digest articles from professionals and experts in the association-management field—the same great members-only resources you've come to expect from ASAE's Section E-Newsletters in the past.
- In-depth analysis and expertise from the pages of Associations Now magazine.
- Links to Models & Samples, upcoming education from ASAE University, and new releases from the ASAE Bookstore.
All of these are custom-tailored to your specific interests. ASAE publishes new articles nearly every business day, and you can expect new content in each major interest area (see list above) at least once per month.
Note: Weekly recipients will see new articles in some, but not all, of their interest areas each week, and can expect to see new articles in each interest at least once per month. It is possible that, for some weekly recipients, if no new articles have been published that match their interests in a given week, no email will be sent. Therefore, we recommend weekly delivery for only members with a wide variety of interests spanning several major topic categories.
When Will I Receive Associations Now Plus?
Based on your choice of frequency, look for Associations Now Plus in your inbox:
- Weekly: Every Tuesday.
- Monthly: The first Tuesday of every month.
- Quarterly: The first Tuesday of March, June, September, and December.
Remember, you can change your frequency and interest settings at any time, as often as you want. (How about now?)
