Facilitator Profile: Sharon H. Kneebone, IOM, CAE
 Sharon Kneebone is the director of chapter development and support for The Appraisal Institute. Kneebone’s current responsibilities include managing a new staff working with the Institute’s 92 chapters, 10 regions, and 3 shared interest groups. She has served as executive director with an association management company working with more than 35 boards of directors. Here, Kneebone assisted her clients in strategic thinking, program development and volunteer leader development.
Kneebone was awarded the CAE designation in December 2005 while completing the U.S. Chamber of Commerce four-year Institute for Organizational Management program. Kneebone currently serves on the ASAE & The Center Component Relations Section Council. When not busy helping the Appraisal Institute’s chapters and regions meet their goals, Kneebone enjoys competitive swimming and performing in local musical theater.
Kneebone holds a BA in mass communication concentration in public relations from the Towson University in Maryland.
