Program Description
The 2010 Marketing & Membership Conference is an exclusive learning and networking opportunity for association marketing and membership professionals. This two day annual conference will stretch your thinking by examining new strategies and practical applications. Learn how to create engaging and unique experience for your members by utilizing your own organization's products and services. Improve member recruitment and retention, discover new branding techniques and network with your peers. Examine and evaluate your current practices and hear unique solutions to launch new initiatives.
A mix of general sessions and learning labs will allow you to customize your own experience and leave the conference with tools you can use immediately.

Marketing & Membership 101 (Optional Pre-Conference: June 13, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
If you are new to the role of marketing and/or membership at your organization, please plan to attend this optional pre-conference session focusing on the basic principles of association membership/marketing strategies and tactics.
In this comprehensive half-day session you will:
*Work through a variety of scenarios to learn how to jump start your membership and marketing;
*Network with fellow marketing and membership colleagues in attendance to learn from the collective knowledge in the room;
*Gain insight into the basics of membership recruitment and retention and association marketing, and share various challenges you may be facing in your own organization;
*Assess how to better understand your members' needs;
*Explore strategies to create meaningful marketing messaging to communicate more effectively with members;
*Address some of the ways social media is affecting the way associations communicate;
And much more!
This session is open to full conference registrants only and can be added on for those already registered by contacting Joy Mason, jmason@asaecenter.org. Space is limited so register early! Attendees must be registered for the full Marketing & Membership Conference to attend this pre-conference program.

With so much content to absorb, having an extra pair of ears around is not a bad idea. To

Cancellation Policy:
Attendance cancellations must be received within five business days before the program begins. A $75 cancellation fee will apply. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than five days before a program. No-shows will not be refunded.
