ASAE & The Center Honor Eighteen Outstanding Organizations with 2007 Gold Circle Award WASHINGTON, DC— Eighteen associations have been honored with the 2007 Communication Gold Circle Award, ASAE & The Center’s award recognizing innovative ideas and achievement in association communications campaigns. Selected from more than 200 entries, recipients were acknowledged for excellence in communication in the categories of print publishing, electronic publishing, writing and media relations. A list of winners and their respective categories is below. “Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the Gold Circle Award for their innovative communication campaigns and strategies. These efforts demonstrate what tremendous creative talent is found in the association workforce and as a result, our community continues to gain recognition as a viable and enticing sector of employment,” said John H. Graham IV, CAE, president and CEO of ASAE. “In today’s ever demanding, hectic and high-tech world, it’s easy to overlook how we communicate with others. This becomes even more challenging for associations, whose employees often wear many hats at once. These organizations are to be commended for understanding the important role of communication and successfully embracing that challenge,” said Cecilia Sepp, 2006-2007 chair of the Gold Circle Awards Committee. Recipients will be acknowledged at the Gold Circle Awards Ceremony on Saturday, August 11, at 5:30 p.m. during ASAE & The Center’s 2007 Annual Meeting & Exposition in Chicago.
