ASAE Names 2013 ‘Power of A’ Award Winners

June 26, 2013

WASHINGTON—On October 1, ASAE will honor six associations with the 2013 Summit Award, which is the highest recognition under The Power of A Awards. The six organizations will be recognized and accept their award during the Summit Awards Dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

The winners were selected by the Power of A Awards Judging Committee, which received more than 70 applications this year. The awards are part of The Power of A campaign, which ASAE launched in 2009 to increase awareness about the wealth of knowledge and resources in the association community with policymakers and other audiences.

It’s always extremely inspiring to see the many ways in which associations work to enrich lives and assist communities around the world. This year’s Summit Award winners provide exceptional examples of associations going above and beyond their organizational mission to make America and the world a better place to live,” said Christie Tarantino, CAE, president and CEO of the Association Forum of Chicagoland and chairman of The Power of A Awards Judging Committee.
