2012 ASAE Fall Leadership Retreat Uses New Technology to Engage Participants

This year’s ASAE Fall Leadership Retreat, November 11–13, kicked off with the opening night reception at the Old Exchange Building hosted by the Charleston CVB. Volunteer leaders enjoyed networking, eating southern cuisine, and touring the historical building, even the dungeon.

The retreat marked the sixth time the full leadership met to discuss the issues and trends impacting the association community as well as feedback and thinking about challenges facing ASAE. New this year, ASAE used a new platform called Soapbox, which provided participants an interactive way to answer polls, submit questions and feedback on discussions.
